The village of Mangengoth is located on 3.100m altitude on a beautiful mountain peak in Helambu region. It is famous for the viewpoint and the beautiful alpine forest in the middle of Langtang National Park. Every year thousands of trekkers pass this trekking point to reach Gosaikunda and Sermanthang. To offer accommodation and food to the trekkers, two lodges – Hotel Green View and Lodge and Lama Guest House, are in operation. Both lodges participate in the Climate Trek Nepal project.

Recently, both lodges improved their eco-comfort by installing a high capacity solar system (5KVa) to offer electric heating facilities to their guests without any time limitations. The installation process started in May 2019. Mr. Kalu Sherpa, owner of the Hotel Green View and Lodge, said: “We are very hopeful for autumn season 2019, because we have very comfortable lodges now. Thanks to atmosfair and project partners for supporting us to become unique in our services and quality”.
