At the altitude of 3570m in Langtang region of Rasuwa district, the Everest-Guest-House is running its tourism services. Mr. Chhime Renjin Tamang owns the Guest House which was established by his parents 30 years ago.

The lodge owner signed a membership agreement with Climate Trek Langtang in 2019. As a result, Chhime has recently started to build a three storey building with 8 rooms at least. Actual construction began in March this year. The Superstructure for 2 storeys is complete by now. The lodge owner is confident to start the lodge operation well before September 2021.

Solar facilities such as solar PV for the lights and solar water heater for hot water will be installed by July 2021. Similarly, a wastewater treatment system and water purifier is also planned once the construction is complete. The Insulation of the lodge is a top priority in the project and the lodge owner has already collected most of the insulation materials for his lodge. Having all the construction materials in place, the lodge is making substantial progress and will be completed by September. During the due process of lodge construction the lodge owner was facing financial problems because there was no income for a long time due to the corona pandemic. The project is financially supporting the lodge with the help of the donations from forum anders reisen members, subsidizing renewable energy technologies by atmost 80%.
