viventura GmbH First Travel Manager for puraventura (Merida, Mexico)

Puraventura: puraventura offers responsible tours to Central America since 2015 with its head office in Mérida, Mexico. Our aim is to unite responsible tourism and authentic travel experiences in the visited countries. We are looking for a person with a great passion for Central America and the Caribbean and with great professional ambition. You will be the first German employee in the Products & Sales department of our office in Merida and will be able to build up an entire team on success. For this we need your strong ambition, your experience in tourism in the region and your excellent language skills.

Here’s who we’re looking for:

Great motivation to work in Merida, Mexico for at least 3 years

You are passionate for Mexico, Central America & the Caribbean

Ideal: you have 2+ years experience in the organization of round trips

Your mother tongue is German and you have excellent written expression

Very good knowledge of Spanish and good English knowledge complete your profile

Pro-active approach

Good PC / online understanding

Getting results and work in a self-responsible way is a key point to your satisfaction

What are your responsibilities:

Support the Executive Director in the development of the strategy plan for puraventura.de

Selection & negotiation with local incoming agencies for the best price / performance ratio for our customers

Development of a convincing product portfolio

You get excited working out and publishing publish roundtrips in detail

Customer support: consulting, sales and aftersale

Ensure that our customers have an outstanding travel experience

Alignment with marketing, so that marketing campaigns can be managed efficiently
